The Basarab Overpass (Romanian: Pasajul Basarab) is a road overpass in Bucharest, Romania, connecting Nicolae Titulescu blvd. and Grozǎveşti Road, part of Bucharest's inner city ring. The bridge now accommodates the number 1 tram line, the only circular tram line in Bucharest that follows the inner traffic circle of the city. The area is ripe for development and, around this point, new housing and IT developments flourish.

Regie is a small district situated in western Bucharest, the capital of Romania, on the banks of the Dâmbovița River, in Sector 6. It is located in the vicinity of the Politehnica University of Bucharest and comprises mainly student dormitories and student facilities like restaurants, bars, and clubs. It is delimited by the Crângași and Militari districts. Cartierul Regie este situat în sectorul 6 al Capitalei, în partea de vest a municipiului Bucureşti. Cartierul, alcătuit în mare parte din cămine studenţeşti, este aşezat de o parte şi de alta a râului Dâmboviţa şi este delimitat la nord de Şoseaua Virtuţii, la vest de Calea Crângaşi, la sud de Bulevardul Iuliu Maniu, iar la est de Şoseaua Orhideelor, Calea Giuleşti şi Bulevardul Regiei.

The neighborhood, made up mostly of student dormitories, is located on either side of the Dâmboviţa River and is bounded on the north by Virtue Road, on the west by Calea Crângaşi, on the south by Iuliu Maniu Boulevard, and on the east by Orchid Road, Calea Giuleşti and Bulevardul Regiei.

Esta infraestructura, The CIUREL OVERPASS, está formada por un puente atirantado de menor talla que su hermano mayor: The BASARAB OVERPASS. Construcția asigură trecerea dinspre centrul capitalei spre zonele Lujerului și Crângași, prin coborârea pe Șoseaua Virtuții. Cu o lungime de aproximativ un kilometru, dintre care un sfert reprezintă podul peste Dâmbovița. Pasajul Ciurel este compus dintr-un pod hobanat cu nouă rampe și două pasaje supraterane.

This infrastructure, The CIUREL OVERPASS, consists of a smaller cable-stayed bridge than its older brother: The BASARAB OVERPASS. The construction ensures the passage from the center of the capital to the areas of Lujerului and Crângași, by descending on Șoseaua Virtuții. With a length of about one kilometer, a quarter of which is the bridge over Dâmbovița. The Ciurel passage is composed of a hoban bridge with nine ramps and two above-ground passages.
