Itinerary description

Wadi Sulfur hike located in Fujiarah. Loop started in the parking area, wadi starts in just 20mins hike trail that will last around 2kms. Water is so clear with fishes and some frogs and surrounded by beautiful plants in Wadi area, the place is just SPLENDID!! The hike gets challenging in the last 2km. A loop trail, just follow the arrow signs and you’re in the right track.By this month heat will be an issue specially if you starts late in the morning as half of the trail will be expose in the sun. So start as early as you could and bring lots of water with you and some snacks along the way.

Informative info posted thanks for that however during this season it's probably better to start around 4 pm, we did yesterday 29/5/2021, tried this different trail from car park towards east direction but unfortunately trail was limited to about 2km unlike when you start towards west direction from the car park... As trail gets bolcked by mountain.

Hello Khayralla52 in this season i would suggest to do it before sunrise rather than sunset coz it’s safer. I believed you can finish the trail in 2hrs. For us it took 3hrs bcoz we got stuck in taking photos and videos lol (girls problem) im not good in navigating which way is West or East lol but from the parking area we started from our left side and coming back from the right side from the parking area where we had to pass a farm house with fence. The marking stones are very helpful to follow the right trail.

I benefitted from your reply, it appears there more two trails, what you described is a loop trail surely will look into for me evening timing is more convenient especially if it is same trail up & down enjoying the views & taking photos while going & using lights while returning as & when required.
    Many thanks

Amazing hike. So well described and rock markings through to make sure you are on the correct trail. We did the hike in reverse and would do it again this way (less people and easier will the small hills). Can’t wait to go back again (-:

Great nature but parts of it are just rock climbing, especially when the wadi is full of water in winter, maybe take waterproof shoes. With kids took us 4 hours and lots of motivating…

Hi smo_son I saw that Dahir now has lots of water due to the past heavy rains. Yes the highlights of this trail is mainly the sulfur parts and wadis after that it is mainly rocks but i hope you still enjoyed the hike. I know some parts are not easy for the kids but for them to be able to finish the loop is very impressive 😀
