Itinerary description
Walking through the beautiful rural area in the interior of the Bodrum Peninsula. Starting from the parking area in front of the Dagbelen Muhtarluk, initial walk is on tarmac, and then following the local dirt roads, first down and later up the hill through pine forest and among scattered farms. Some friendly dogs are happy to join. They are quite big, but not dangerous at all. At one spot, the dirt road is abandoned and an ascend begins along a narrow bush-overgrown gully , which ends in a clearing in front of a farm gate. Turning right brings us on a dirt road which ends in a T-junction with a confusing road sign. Taking left turn brings us back to where we started, turning right takes one to Gundogan.
