Itinerary description
Cyril Bay
This was once an inhabited cocoa village that has reverted to pristine condition with the passing of time. The trek begins off the North Coast Road just before the Lookout. Here you enter into the forest and continue downwards through the dense canopy until the rumbling of the waves is heard. Here before your eyes, lies the turquoise water of a relatively sheltered bay. It offers bathing for both non- swimmers and swimmers alike. Along the shoreline there is a small waterfall under which you can relax before starting your journey back to the top. The return journey is a gradual uphill until you reach the top; a short hike with a great workout.

Thank you for the trail. Astonishing beauty of Trinidad. There is a small waterfal nearby. One can park at the start of the trail. There is a little hideout. Also there is large opening few meters away on the other side of the road.
