Itinerary description
We tried to walk official nature trail (what is actually left of it) in the village of Oroklini (or Voroklini). There is a part of the trail marked as "saints foot prints" which is meant the path of St. Ilia, whos church is nearby.
The overall trail is easy and nice especially in winter/spring time. One can admire green hills and fields, panoramic views over the village and sea, as well it's possible to have a closer look at the local landmark - the boat.
The trail starts/ends near the picnic site.
TERRAIN: mainly dirt roads, there are a couple of section of medium elevation but overall the trail has easy ups and downs.
SEASON: the trail has no shade at all. Dirt roads may be eroded and get muddy after heavy rains.
SIGNS: there used be many signs and information stands I suppose. However very few signs survived until now what makes it somewhat difficult to get around. A few stands also survived but there is no information on them.
There are a couple of benches in the beginning of the trail.
KIDS: fine for kids of any walkable age.
