Itinerary description
This is one of rarely walked official routes in Pissouri area. It goes partially through the upper part of the village, then goes down via various fields and agricultural grounds, then follows the road along the seashore up to Milanda tavern and then back to the lower part of the village. Just before the tavern you may visit Mountyan labyrinths.
We didn't go the official route in full and cut it a bit short at the end, however added an extension to make it circular.
TERRAIN: in general you go all the way down to the sea and then back but en route you have some intermediary ups and downs. Mostly paved and dirt roads, parts of motorways on the way back.
SEASON: the trail is fully exposed to the sun. During rains some parts of dirt roads may become muddy.
SIGNS: there are some small arrows on green circles here and there to indicate the route, however they are very small and are not placed everywhere you need them. thus any map with navigation will save you time. Very few benches, most of them are on the way back.
KIDS: the trail is not that difficult but long enough, thus I would recommend min age of around 10 yo.
