Itinerary description
This stage crosses the Guli Pass, which connects the Mazeri Valley with the main valley where Mestia is situated. In our case, we start walking well above Mazeri, where we arrive with our off-road van near a small mountain church. From there to the pass there is a steep climb enlivened by wonderful views of Mount Ushba. Once we reach the pass, there is still a long way to go, mostly on a track suitable for vehicles. Our stage ended at a kind of aggregate extraction area where our vehicle picked us up.
