Newcastle (or Ardfinnan) to Goatenbridge (Goats Bridge on O.S. Discovery 74) . Follow signs for LIam Lynch monument. Parking available at monument. From monument take partially covered trail behind monument heading roughly west.First half of walk is on open mountain, second half is on well-maintained stone tracks, following the purple arrows of the Liam Lynch trail.
