CRO 05-Nacimiento del río Kupa // Sources of Kupa river

<<< English follows >>> La ruta del nacimiento del río Kupa es un clásico del parque de Risnjak. La ruta puede llegar hasta la frontera con Eslovenia. Se aparca en una explanada que hay junto a la caseta de información. En la oficina puedes comprar también los pases de entrada al parque. Los hay válidos para dos días, a 45 kunas por persona (julio 2017). La primera parte es una bajada bastante pronunciada hasta el río. Está equipada con escaleras. Una vez que has llegado al nacimiento y quieres continuar el camino hay que tener cuidado con no perder el sendero. Tienes que retroceder hasta el WPT “Vista del río Kupa” y seguir por el lado derecho del río, por unas escaleras que suben y bajan por la pared. Unos doscientos metros lineales después se acaban las escaleras y ya vas caminando dejando el río a tu izquierda. Al final llegas a un puente (WPT “Puente 1”) por el que cruzas a la ribera izquierda. El suelo es de tipo bosque, suave y con hierba. Junto al Puente 1 hay una mesa merendero y un poco después, el Centro de Visitantes del nacimiento del río. El camino ya continúa plano hasta el WPT Puente 2. Se cruza y comienza el regreso. Parte del camino de regreso es por asfalto. En conjunto, ruta fácil y entretenida. <<< English >>> The route of the sources of river Kupa is a classic of the park of Risnjak. The route can reach the border with Slovenia. Park your car at an esplanade next to the information office. In the office you can also buy the entrance passes to the park. About two hundred linear meters later, the stairs are finished and you are alreadyalking, leaving the river on your left. Finally you reach a bridge (WPT "Bridge 1") through which you cross to the left bank. The soil is forest-like, soft and grassy. Next to Bridge 1 there is a picnic table and a bit later, the Visitors Center of the river's sources. The trail continues flat until the WPT Bridge 2. You cross it and the return begins. Part of the way back is asphalt. Overall, easy and entertaining route.
