Itinerary description
Intended as a circular walk, walking along the crest and returning through the valley of the Ombrone river, but unfortunately the route along the crest was blocked at some point by the construction of a house and the CAI-route behind it had overgrown and turned impassible. BEWARE: at the start of the walk there is a sign warning of livestock- guarding dogs. You can pass, but don't come close to the sheep, don't make brisk or aggressive movements and don't run when the dogs approach you. Observing these rules we passed safely, with the dogs escorting us along the path until we were far enough from the sheep.
