Itinerary description
Beautiful mystical route that passes through amazing vista points, Valle de Los Monjes, Lago de Arareco, Mision de San Ignacio and Valle de Las Ranas. It is highly recommended with a native guide as there is no good route marking. Special thanks to our guide Enrique Parra, who knows what he is doing!!!

Its a nice trail where you pass Valle de Monjes, Hongos and Ranas. Unfortunately, after the first few kilometers of the way the trail disappeared and for an hour or so we had to crawl through thorny bushes until Valle Monjes. After that, we could not continue the trail because it was fenced private territory so we missed Lago Arereco and just followed the street down to Creel (it was okay but not really a nice path in in plain sun ;)
