Itinerary description
A relatively easy hike from the bottom of the Skyway Gondola up to the mid station. The path is mostly well made but very steep in places.
When I completed this route (early June) there was too much snow to complete the hike from the mid station to the refuge. It's therefore worth checking the conditions. If you intend to take the gondola from the mid station be aware of the last lift times.
