Itinerary description
This route starts at the Portland Heights Park parking lot and goes through the Marquam Nature Park, the waterfront, River View Natural Area, Tryon Creek, and Terwilliger Boulevard. Most of the hike is along dirt trails but portions are on neighborhood streets, the Willamette Greenway, and major roads crossings. There are many facilities and food options.
Note: do not follow the "SW Trails 4" sign at the intersection of SW 4th Avenue and SW 5th Avenue pointing under I-5 and Barbur, instead, take the staircase up onto Terwilliger and walk across.
