Itinerary description
Ordnance Survey Discovery Series 75. Walk begins at Mahon Falls Carpark, signposted from Mahon Bridge on the Carrick on Suir to Dungarvan road (R676). A few hundred metres on public road, and the rest on open bogland. There are two streams to cross, the Tay (easy enough) and the Mahon (more challenging). Good views of Coumalocha in fine weather. Map reading skills needed, especially in mist. Not for the faint hearted.
