OS Discovery Series 75. Walk begins at the Nire Carpark. Ample parking.
A short stretch of public road followed by rough trail and then open mountain. The trail ascends gently at the start, followed by a steeper section leading to the plateau. The views from the cliff above the lakes is superb. A narrow stream must be crossed on the return section: choose the crossing point as appropriate.
Allow 5 hours for a comfortable walk.
