Itinerary description
Our trek on Corsica's GR20. We started at Calenzana, ended right after Refuge d'Usciolu as we did not have more time to finish the trail, unfortunately.
At Haut Asco we needed to chose a bus detour due to weather conditions. Showers and storms were predicted for the day we wanted to go through Monte Cinto. However, after strong morning shower (lasting 1 hour maybe), there were no further signs of storms. During the ride on the bus the skies cleared and all looked pretty sunny. We got back on route at Calasima, walking by Bergerie de Ballone, we followed the path south.
Our journey ended after 11 days at Refuge d'Usciolu. Getting from there to village Zicavo, following GR20 for several more kilometers and then detouring via Yellow mark, which changed to an Orange mark more or less on a half-way to Zicavo. From Zicavo, we hitchhiked to the direction of Ajaccio (if you'd like to hitchhike at Zicavo it is good to descend to intersection of D757A/D757/D228 as there is more traffic; it is roughly 4km; there is supposed to be also a morning bus going on week days, which we were told departs around 6:30AM).

Bathing point
There was a nice point to stop and do some bathing. But it was not the only one, of course. This one was the one where all the things clicked for us - sunny morning, close access from trail, no one around, beautiful small waterfall and our determination to give a chance to the chilly water!
