Itinerary description

The North Western side of the mountain Corno Bianco (Wheisshorn) consists of a huge gorge. The gorge is an open book, where scientists, hikers passionate about geology, as well as nature-loving families with children may read about more than 40 million years of geological history.
This path starts at the Lavaze Pass at 1830 meters above sea level.

Top Corno Bianco

The top of Corno Bianco (Weisshorn) is more correctly noted as a broad ridge. It is about 2313 meters above sea level. At the top one can also see the path up to the other Black Horn or Corno Nero (Schwartzhorn). It is a very fertile area. Just look at the flowers, even in the mountain wall.

Malga Isi Restaurant

Malga Isi (Isi-Hutte) is a restaurant at a height of 1850 meters above Sea Level. Here you can order something to eat and drink in a good atmosphere.

Auer Leger Alm

Auer Leger Alm is at 1872 m between the Lavazé Pass and Oclini Pass. In this known Almrestaurant you can order regional delicacies Tyrolean style.

Parking Passo di Oclini

This pass (Joch Grimm) is where you can be brought back by bus/car or return by foot to the starting point at Lavaze Joch (Passo di Lavaze).
