Itinerary description
The Cornisas trail in Torres del Paine National Park is an exciting route that offers a unique experience in the majestic Chilean Patagonia. This hike features a gradual ascent followed by a fairly flat stretch on the crest's summit before descending steeply towards the end.
Throughout the hike, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Paine River, Laguna Lakal, and the iconic Cuernos del Paine, which will take your breath away. The surrounding landscape is a testament to the untamed beauty of this region.
We embarked on this adventure in mid-April, just at the beginning of fall. Despite the pleasant weather, we experienced strong winds at the mountain's peak, which, according to our guide, is quite common on this trail. Therefore, it is advisable to wear suitable clothing to protect yourself from the wind and be prepared for changing weather conditions.
