Itinerary description
Starting in the New Fortress, overlooking Corfu Old City and the New Venetian Fortress
1st destination Mon Repos Park (Prince Philip was born in the Palace). Luxurious green, amazing sights, lots of remains, ruins and MOSQUITOS (have repellent with you, when I say lots, it's like 50 around each of you).
In the pontoon we had our last swim in the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by schools of fish. It felt so peaceful there.
Then we head on to the pedestrian bridge under the airplanes landing/departure lane. There is a small beautiful Orthodox Monastery.
Bus 2A gets you back to the city center, 1,60€ per person. Every 20 minutes from 8pm in October.
