Itinerary description
Corani Lake Hike
We went from Cochabamba to Corani by car. Public transportation is also avilable. You can take a trufi from 9 de abril street and Oquendo Ave. Find the trufis that go to COLOMI. From there you can take a taxi or a Candelaria trufi to get closer to the lake and walk from there. You start hiking on the right side of the lake. There are many options. The one we did was a short and esay one.
We left Cbba. At 7:30 a.m, go to the starting point at 8:30. The we started goign up the mountain. originally ther was a lovely trail, but now thye built a road and it is easire to follow it to the top of the mountain. Then you just continue straight ahead enjoying the lovely view of tha lake. It is really pretty.
As you go down you need to find the road agani and go back to the starting point. As I said, there are may options with this hike. It is one of my favorite hike in one day in Cochabamba.
