Itinerary description

You can use the 615 bus to get to the start of this walk. The main walk was just under 16 km with the rest by bus. The route climbs through little villages, eventually getting to open land with wonderful views at about 400 metres. After unusual rain storms, the streams were flowing. The highest point on the walk is Akoursos. Form there, the road down is wide and looks as though it could get busy in the main tourist season. In January, there was little traffic, perhaps a car every five minutes. The route crossed the E4 trans-Europe path. Back in Paphos, I had an excellent Stifado at the Saint Paul Pillar Tavern, close to the bus terminus.
