Itinerary description
A nice hike from the touristy Copacabana to the small town of Yampupata. Leaving Copacabana, you'll start walking along the road, but soon enough pre-colombian paths are followed until the car-free town of Zampaya is reached. From there, you'll walk along the north-side of the peninsula, giving views of Isla de la Luna and the Corderilla Real (however, the path is a little hard to follow here, as it is not walked often). From Yampupata it is easy enough to cross to Isla del Sol. It is also possible to find basic accommodation here.

Gorgeous hike! Last part close to yunupata was really hard to follow because of plants overgrowing the paths. We also did it in reverse.
Extra info: taxi 50bs to/from yumupata. Coporativo 10bs. For 150bs you can cross over to isla del sol and sleep there for a multiple day hike. There is also a hostel in yumapata but no restaurants/other food
