Itinerary description

For us 5 active hours, mostly uphill

1. Take metro to nuqui
2. Catch the bus from muelle 1 to “parque” and it will leave you 2 blocks from the park of copacabana
3. The first part of this trail brings you through a neighborhood to Santuario de la Cruz
4. From there you begin a dirt trail uphill for 2-3 hours. There is no cover from sun or rain in this part.
5. After reaching the top or Morron Copacabana you begin to traverse smaller ups and downs for a couple hours
6. In the last downhill portion you exit onto a road where you walk several km and come out at the El Tambor market a few minutes walk from the metrocable.
