We must be crazy! Decided to 'run' this circuit as a training exercise, rather than the Rocky Creek circuit used by Parkrun. There are some steep sections that we had to revert to walking, but the down hills were great fun. Think I lost a kg in weight.
Short Description:
Travel through open eucalypt forest where bloodwood and tallowwood trees are common and banksias, wattles, grass trees and hopbush grow in the forest understory.
In more protected, wetter areas, the forest features flooded gum, turpentine, cabbage tree palm, piccabeen palm, stinging tree and some rainforest plants. You will cross two small creeks and pass bee hives on this circuit.
Getting there:
Access the main entrance at Radar Hill Road, Kulangoor.
From the south, exit the Bruce Highway at the Nambour Connection Road/Parkland Exit. Turn right, and after 200m, turn right back over the Bruce Highway as if you were joining the highway to go south. Just over the bridge, turn right into Radar Hill Road.
From the north exit off the Bruce Highway at the Nambour Connection Road/Parkland exit and turn left into Radar Hill Road before it crosses over the highway.

This is one of four well defined tracks in the Parkland and travels through open eucalypt forest where bloodwood and tallowwood trees are common and banksias, wattles, grass trees and hopbush grow in the forest understorey.
In more protected, wetter areas the forest features flooded gum, turpentine, cabbage tree palm, piccabeen palm and some rainforest plants.
This is a very undulating track and popular with Trail Bike Riders, crossing two small creeks and passes apiary bee hives on this circuit.

As signposting can be a little vague, it is suggested you print off a copy of the tracks from the website link above. Be aware, that the tracks are 'shared' with horse riders and in some section mountain bike riders.
