Itinerary description
Nice walk along the only fjord of Ireland. I parked my car just 100 meters before the turn off to the sheep farm. Beware: even though it seems like a normal road, you cannot park anywhere. The walk along the fjord starts on tarmac, becomes a track in the end. Track is quite good all the way, a little bit wet at parts, but enough stones to pass. The last 13 km are on minor roads (tarmac) so you might consider lighter walking shoes when walking this track. Even though it is a road, not so muchs cars will pass you and the views of Lough Fee are really worthwhile. I had my lunch at the beach.
If you are here in september, do not forget to pick berries on the way along the Lough Fee.
Walk is average because of the distance.
