Complete Pipeline Track (Khera Gali - Ayubia - Dunga Gali)

I have heard someone talk about this complete pipeline track couple of months ago. But I had no idea it was this easy to navigate to.

On a fine sunday I caught the local hiace from Faizabad to reach Khera Gali from where the track starts.

Khera Gali is first village after Barrian and the provincial boundary.
The track starts from the main road near the Mosque/Madrissa.
It's very easy to spot inface.

I was advised by the shopkeeper not to go alone since it's a forest and there might be wild life present. But I knew this track was not that deep in forest and passes through villages and is closer to the main road. I found people here and there on track including kids. In the middle of it was the Kuza gali village so, not that risky at all.

First 2.3 kilometers are concrete road. I was surprised to see the amount of development going on there. There already were many luxury apartments complexes, hotels and villa's and more were being made there. Those places were constructed on beautiful location with all the amenities of any good hotel in the city. Perfect get away from the bustling city life and even crowded Murree or Nathia Gali.

After the concrete road, you reach an intersection, on left of which there is doorway to pipeline track and on the right side is local village. They have a signboard to forbid strangers to take the right turn.

Ironically a right right here might turn out to be "wrong turn".

Track is very easy. As you can see I barely gained 83 meters in altitude in 17 kilometers. On average I did 4 kilometers in one hour, however after tunnel I started photography which slowed me down.
Track is very same I kept meeting people on it here and there. There are a few water spring and countless butterflies welcoming all the time.

Since it's dense forest, you don't get any panoramic view till you reach Ayubia. Just before the Moto Tunnel there is a spot for a good view.
After Moto tunnel is the famous pipeline track which takes you to Dunga Gali in 4 kilometers.

I wonder what it could be like to do this track in snow.
