Itinerary description
There is a reasonable path up to Committee Rocks, but there we leave the path and climb to below the Goalposts. Then traverse over rough and steep terrain before descending to the next waypoint at Klippies. Try to traverse a bit further than we did (50 to 100 metres), as from below the slope looks easier there. From Klippies we rejoin a decent path.

Refreshment stop and viewpoint. The photo shows the slope we descended. We came through the rocky band in the centre, and may have done better by traversing a further 50 or 100 metres where the route looks easier.
