Itinerary description
Gamarvan ("Chomcha bulag") mineral spring is a thermal-mineral water that rises to the surface at an altitude of 1388 meters, in the valley of the Bum river, 5 km north of the village of Gamarvan. The natural temperature is 39.2 0. It is rich in sulfur and iron compounds. In 1965-1966 and in 1973-1977, samples taken from the water of "Kamarvan", "Shongar" and "Yenge" mineral springs in Gabala region were chemically analyzed in a special laboratory in Saint Petersburg. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the content of siliceous compounds in Gamarvan water is 30-40 mg/l, sulfur is 3-12 mg/l, and the total minerality is 1.52-1.79 g/l. Water capacity reaches 50,000 liters. Due to the chemical and physical properties of its water, as well as its therapeutic value, Gamarvan mineral spring is similar to Kuldur mineral water, which is famous in Western Europe (Priney peninsula).
