Itinerary description
A ramble along the shanks of Mt Elbert, followed by a dreary detour around Twin Lakes. The monotony of the lodgepole forests is broken up by stands of very large aspen trees, and a stroll through sagebrush/ponderosa meadows above Clear Creek.
