Itinerary description
Mount Bierstadt Trail is a 7.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Idaho Springs, Colorado that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from June until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This is a Class 2 climbing: Simple scrambling, with the possible occasional use of the hands.
