Itinerary description
Go by car to Puerto Collado (Cómpeta) and continue carefully on gravel road to Cortillo del Daire and find a parking space within 1/2 km or so. Be sure you have a GPS to find the entry to the path. Once found, it is easy to follow. At the end, just below the ridge to Lucero, you will need to descend an exposed part with the help of fixed ropes and chains. The rest of the trail is obvious and not very complicated. Well back in the car I recommend you turn around and head back for Puerto Collado. It is possible to continue towards Acebuchal but the road is in bad shape.
