Itinerary description
From the closest I could reasonably park to Col Caprile and back. Gentle and quiet - the two farms or houses on the route were deserted/abandoned. Could not go up the hill to the SW of Caprile (just past the 'hotel' Charme in Assisi) since it is fenced off with warnings about 'Type C dogs training'.
For the hill proper, ignore the diversion off the road (I was searching for the route) and take the graveled track as shown and strike off towards the hill when obvious. There are double tracks leading round a field and then up.
