Itinerary description
Trails: Squirrel, Bear, Wolf, Stellar Jay, Logger’s Loop and return by same route ending with Salamander as an alternate exit.
Unfortunately, Wikilocs was inadvertently paused during an early portion of the hike, resulting in a staight line on the hike map. The retun path marks the actual route for this portion.
Trails go up and down and range from thin footpaths to Jeep trails. They are color coded for degree of difficulty. wolf trail has some brief steep sections. with difficult walking. Take your walking stick or staff. No good overlooks from the lower trails. A good hike through advanced 3rd growth Crown forest and parkland. Very pleasant. Good parking and restrooms at trailhead. Well signed but no you are here maps.
