Grasmere-Patterdale
Fairly easy day in preparation for two tough days of 27 and 34 km. It went up gradually via a good path to a small lake. On the way we overtook two Dutch people who walked C2C for 5 days with luggage transport. During the descent we encountered the English weather that we have encountered every time for the past three days. Walked a lot with her today. She was a professional rower in addition to her medical studies. Last month she had rowed a competition in the Amsterdam forest. Unfortunately, the youth hostel with camping was full and after a pint of Guinness we had to walk more than half an hour to the camping.
