Itinerary description
|
This morning after a real English breakfast in our hotel we left at 8.30 am for the first day. The day started with drizzle along the rocky coast overlooking the Isle of Man. After 9 km we left the coast and went inland. After Creator village we got to climb the first hill of 552 meters. Then descend to the village of Ennerdale. During the descent we met Bob from London who will be walking part of the C2C. Ate in the pub in Ennerdale and had a beer in the hope that we could spend the night there, unfortunately the hotel was full and we continued to the youth hostel as you can read at day 1A.
