Itinerary description

Climbing the top of Mount Kofinas (1231 metres) is not for people when you are afraid of heights. You climb a sort of staircase formed by the rocks on the north side of Kofinas. It is best not to attempt this on your own in case you get into difficulties.
When you reach the plateau at the highest point of the mountain and see the peak of Kofinas in front of you. The climb up to Kofinas starts near the little church of Panagia Kera (Our Lady) at the base of the peak.
Leave your car here and start climbing. It’s probably no more than 275 metres high, so it should only take you 20 minutes. When you reach the flat peak of Kofinas with its panoramic view, you will feel it’s well worth the effort. Plan to do this when it's not cloudy.
