Itinerary description
A very good trail to sense the Yellowstone Canyon and some geothermal activity. The trail starts at Clear lake head trail. A short distance takes you through meadow (Bisons!) to Clear lake. From there to Ribbon Lake through the forest. Many logs are on the ground manifesting the turnover of the trees. Going back the same way to a turn point north to the south rim trail. A beautiful walk along the canyon to Artist Point and from there continue to the start point.
