Itinerary description
Best place to park for this trail is across the road (15182 McCowan Rd) where there is a small parking lot for the Dainty Tract trails. While you are there pick up a map booklet from the sign board, the Clarke Tract has lots of intersections and trails to choose from. The trail I recorded extends beyond the official boundaries to the east, adding on Ballantrae Park and a short walk through the Iroquois Drive neighbourhood before returning to the Clarke trails. Typical young forest for the area, streams were very small, slow moving. Trails were wide, marked and with numerous options depending on your time and energy. Some map reading skills (or Wikiloc) are required.
