Itinerary description
Park your car in the nice and small village Civitella Alfedena and start to hike uphill through the forest.
On several points you will have a good view at lake Barrea.
As you reach the highest point of this hike, you can have a rest at the small river in the forest.
Then continue and go down to lake Barrea . You will hike several km near the lake. Sometimes you wil have a view at the lake, but most of the times there are a lot of bushes..
At several points along the lake, you can have a swim, relax, and have a drink or bite.
Than uphill again and back to Civitella Alfedena.
