Circuit pédestre Canach - Lenningen

FR: Départ et arrivée: parking près de l'église et de la mairie de Canach (4, Rue de l'Église, 5414 Canach)

Ce parcours part à l'attaque des sommets du Wénfertsbierg, Canecherbierg, Kalebierg et Haard. Le circuit relie les villages de Canach et Lenningen situés dans la vallée de la Lenningerbaach, un petit affluent de la Moselle. Il nous offre de superbes vues panoramiques sur l’arrière-pays mosellan. Aux abords des localités, la promenade longe des coteaux exposés au sud avec d’anciennes terrasses et leurs murets de pierres sèches. La colline du Kalebierg se caractérise par un paysage totalement ouvert et un relief adouci où les sols des couches géologiques marneuses sont occupés par des pâturages et des labours. Au sud de Lenningen on traverse un paysage vallonné riche en haies, vergers et autres arbres solitaires avant de pénétrer dans la forêt (chênaie- charmaie et hêtraie) pour retourner à Canach.

This path tackles the summits of the Wéngertsbierg, Canecherbierg, Kalebierg and Haard. We leave the town northwards, go east and ramble along the slopes of the Wéngertsbierg and the Canecherbierg. We go downhill over the Kalebierg to the Lennengerbaach, which we follow to Lenningen. We cross the village, traverse the Branebësch and return to Canach via the Haard.

Diese Strecke erklimmt den Wéngertsbierg, Canecherbierg, Kalebierg und den Haard. Der Wanderweg verbindet die Ortschaften Canach und Lenningen die im Tal der Lenningerbaach liegen, und bietet herrliche Ausblicke auf das Moselhinterland. Am Rande der Ortschaften verläuft der Weg an Südhängen mit ehemaligen Terrassen und Trockenmauern. Der Hügel vom Kalebierg bietet eine offene Landschaft mit wenig Relief, wo die Lehmböden als Weide- und Ackerland genutzt werden. Südlich von Lenningen durchquert man eine Landschaft, wo viele Hecken, Obstgärten und Solitärbäume stehen, bevor es durch den Wald (Eichen-, Hainbuchen- und Rotbuchenwald) zurück nach Canach geht.
