Itinerary description
Hike following the Circle track from DOC (Department Of Conservation).
To get to the start of the track you need to cross to the other side of the Waiau River or lake Manapouri, depending on where you start. To cross you can hire a water taxi or use a Kayak.
I decided to kayak and left the kayak at the beach on the other side and started walking from there.
The hike is easy and the views are nice once you get to the lookout point.
If you want something longer have a look at other tracks I did in the area.
