Cima Cerro Gordo V2.0, Coin
This nice circular hike starts from the parking area adjacent Estadio Jose Burgos de Quintana sports centre, and opposite the picnic area.
From here make your way down to the old Eldorado film studios (Ciudad del Cine).
Take the path going up the firebreak. When the firebreak ends there is a well defined path (a little overgrown in places, but not too bad) to the next junction where you turn left and pick up the SL-A180 (Sendero Canteras Azules).
Arriving at the summit you get lovely 360* panoramic views.
Making your way down the SL-A180 to where the sendero starts turn right then take the firebreak path on your left where you pick up the path following the perimeter of the woods, which will bring you back to the car park.
I started at 9am and had about 50% shade on this walk.
The firebreak was a bit slippery due to the sand and stones, but nothing major to worry about.
