Approx 1 hour to this point Now follow the wide forest track for approx 20 mins. Rowberrow Warren Forest is owned by the Forestry Commission. It’s not an old woodland, it was planted in the 1940’s and 50’s on previously open grass and heath land. The main trees species are spruce, pine, oak and ash. Work is ongoing in the forest, felling, replanting and conservation. The area is popular with mountain bikers and riders exploring the marked tracks and bridleways
