Itinerary description

This is an easy to moderate trail, that is pretty Sandy and Rocky in varying places. There is stunning vistas throughout the entire hike, and if you get the opportunity to do this so that you finish around sunset you’ll get a lot of great views of that as well. If you’re lucky enough as I was to be finishing on a night where there was a full moon rising, and you don’t mind finishing in the pitch dark. But that is why I don’t have as many waypoints pictures of the views investors vistas for the last small portion of the hike.

Trail start

Trail start at the parking lot across from the Ritz Carlton. This is located on Frank Sinatra Drive on the Southside of 111 as far as you can go beige it becomes private. There is parking for the trails at the bottom of the hill which gives access to Roadrunner Trail. This is at the top.

There seems to be a good bit of up and down hill. But the path is relatively smooth and the difficulty is pretty easy so far

Industrial twist

Very early in the trail you’re going to go around some concrete related to the place where you parked and some fencing and such but it’s kind of cool at the same time.

Just a spectacular views the entire valley from here or you can watch the planes land and Sea pretty much the entire windmill farm. It’s a really excellent view.

More up and down

Definitely has a lot of up-and-down but the trail is in really good condition. I would note that it’s very Scufflegrit, so you’re gonna want to have good shoes and because of the steep up and downs I definitely recommend trekking polls.

There is actually a dam here and a culvert and it’s very cool.

Two paths you can go by

There is an upper trail and a lower trail here. The upper trail is a bit more narrow not as well-maintained and slightly tilted so it wouldn’t be advised for someone who’s gate might be challenged.
