Itinerary description
Chóra Sfakíon - Loutro
Left from the centre of Chora, very slowly and picked up the pace afterwards. Totally doable in 1h and a half without stopping for a swim - but you won’t resist the water!! It’s really scenic and the two main beaches along the way are absolutely stunning. I had a pair of running shoes which were OK but I am quite dexterous - trekking shoes would have certainly made it easier since while there isn’t much to climb the terrain is very uneven, loads of rocks. Pretty hot but again, I deal well with heat as long as I have plenty of water - hat and sunscreen are absolutely a must.
