მარშრუტის აღწერა
მარშრუტი ერთმანეთთან აკავშირებს ქვემო ქართლის გამორჩეულ ღირსშესანიშნაობებს - კლდეკარის ციხესა და მანგლისის სიონის ეკლესიას.

დღე 1 (მანძილი: 11 კმ. / 4 სთ.)
მარშრუტი სოფ. ჩოლიანის ცენტრში იწყება და თავდაპირველად კლდეკარის ციხეზე ადის, საიდანაც ულამაზესი ხედები იშლება მთელს შემოგარენზე. აქედან მარშრუტი უკან ბრუნდება და ამჯერად მანგლისისკენ მიემართება. გზად მდინარის რამდენჯერმე გადალახვაც მოგიწევთ. პირველი სამოგზაურო დღის დასასრულს, ჩოლიანიდან დაახლოებით 5 კმ-ის გავლის შემდეგ, მინდორს მიადგებით, რომელიც პირველი დღის საბანაკედ არის გათვლილი (აქედან რამდენიმე ათეულ მეტრში არის წყაროც). მარშრუტი ეს მონაკვეთი ძირითადად ალგეთის ეროვნულს პარკს გასდევს და აქაური შერეული ტყე უფრო მეტ ხიბლს მატებს მოგზაურობას.
დღე 2 (მანძილი: 12 კმ. / 4 სთ.)
საბანაკე ადგილიდან ბილიკი მდინარე ალგეთის ხეობაში ეშვება, გრუნტის სამანქანო გზას მიუყვება და საბოლოოდ დაბა მანგლისში, ქართული არქიტექტურის გამორჩეულ ძეგლთან - მანგლისის სიონთან სრულდება. მარშრუტის ეს მონაკვეთი სულ დაღმართს მიუყვება და საკმაოდ იოლი გასავლელია. გზად რამდენიმე პატარა სოფელსაც გაივლით, რომლებიც ძირითადად ზაფხულის სეზონზეა დასახლებული.

რეკომენდაცია: რეკომენდირებულია ბილიკის სოფელ ჩოლიანიდან დაწყება, რადგაცან ბილიკი დაღმართს მიუყვება და მანგლისში ჩასვლაც 1 დღეშია შესაძლებელი.

Description of the route
The route connects each other exceptional sights of Kvemo Kartli – Kldekari Fortress and Manglisi Sioni Church.
Day 1 (Distance: 11 km / 4 h)
The route starts in the center of village Choliani and initially it ascends Kldekari Fortress, from where you can enjoy wonderful views of the whole surrounding area. From here the route gets back to Choliani and this time it goes toward townlet Manglisi. On the way, you have to cross the river several times. At the end of the first traveling day, after passing about 5 km from Choliani, you will approach the field, which is considered for the first day camping (there is also a spring in about several tens of meters from here). This segment of the route mainly goes across Algeti National Park and the mixed forest of this area makes traveling much more pleasant.
Day 2 (Distance: 12 km / 4 h)
From the camping area, the route descends into the riv. Algeti gorge, goes across the dirt road and finally ends in the townlet of Manglisi, at Manglisi Sioni Church, which is an exceptional monument of Georgian architecture. This segment of the route completely goes across the sheer downhill and is very easy to pass. On the way you will pass through several small villages that mainly are inhabited in a summer season.

Recommendation: It is recommended to start the trail from the village Choliani, as the trail goes downhill and can be reached Manglisi in 1 day.
