Itinerary description
5 to 7 hours.This is a all weather trek to Chitta Katha Lake from Shounter Valley road. This trek is accessble from mid june till sep. It is a bit lengthy but it is easier and easy to trek and is mostly used by the local people to access lake.A much shorter trek is towards south of the stream but it is not accessible when snow is still there however at the end the climb gradient is much more and difficult.
