Itinerary description
With Kuala Lumpur Hiking & Trail Running group
If y'all been with KLH, especially recently, y'all know that they've moved forward to self-guide hikes. A move I highly welcomed, coz it forces one to be independent, crash-learning on GPX map navigation, etc. Also, you'll find myriad of choices, that Alex (head honcho of KLH) would create, for any particular hikes. For example, he'd create trail A, B, C and so on. A being the hardest/longest/technically challenging, B would be slightly shorter, and so forth. Knowing that there's limited choices of place we could go for a hike, that doesn't require permits/guides nonsense, usually we'll end up with same ol', kinda boring places. But, if you know Alex, and knew him well, he'd made sure that any hikes, would be totally worth your efforts.
So, this time, we went to a severely damaged place, almost gone, Cherakah Hill. No thanks to the current development of East Coast Rail Link (ECRL). Naturally, I'd always pick trail A, so that way I'm always training, ready for any tough, multiple-day hikes, if any ever comes up. Obstacles, technically challenging route, a lot of scrambling needed, long distance, pretty normal, up to now. But DAMN, with the current heat spells we've been having, it made the whole ordeal even much harder. I'd consider this trail as moderate, but with the heat spells, it got HARD!
If y'all ever wanna attempt this trail, via my map, get geared up, for long stretches in the hot ass sun, loads of scrambling, and minimum 2l of water. There's no shops nearby, nor halfway through, even though we'd come across civilisation. There's streams, here and there, but none are fit for consumption, even after being filtered. Don't take the risk. Bring enough liquid!
PS: Had to cancel off all junction turns, since I've exhausted the maximum waypoints allowed by Wikiloc, which is 49.

Dangerous Stretch!
Watch out for potential loose boulder. There's signs all over, with big boulders in the middle of the old trail, got loose and tumbled down.
