Itinerary description
Starts fairly uninteresting in a series of interconnected washes with small hills speckled about. As the canyon narrows, the scenery gets better and perhaps the vigilance to route finding. I saw a fair amount cairns, all of which were helpful but the gpx track was the most help. Had the whole think to myself. Nothing tricky, can be slow at time. Brush is not bad except the usual chollas, which weren't an issue for me, but the mesquite thorns got me a few times, nothin major. Splendid, peaceful time up top. The dirt powerline was good, but my low clearance, 2WD car did bottom out a few times, mostly pushy a bit of clumped dirt. It appears on the map you could park off the paved Havasu Lake Road and only a bit of distance. E
