Itinerary description
A very pleasant and moderate walk around the southwest of Chãos, Portugal. It offers great views over the forested slopes to the south of Cumes. If you park in Cumes (near Rua Nossa Senhora da Encarnação) then walk clockwise on the trail down the hill, take a right on the Rua Pocinho. A half hour of flat hike leads to a t-junction, take a right and up the third trail on the right (up a little rise) - it will be a nice-sized track, although muddy and rocky at first. This becomes a single path trail that ascends the hill and intercepts the Rua Cumeada (sharp right) which is a wide dirt road. Follow back to Cumes.
